Often, the head of factory wheels bolts protrudes past than the surface of a wheel spacer and so they cannot be used to mount the spacer on. Spacer bolts can be used for this purpose instead as with a low profile head they can sit below the surface of the spacer

Note: with these low profile bolts, they are perfectly suitable for spacer 20mm or thicker. For 15mm thick spacer, the hex head will protrude out the surface by 2 mm- 3 mm. So if you have or buying 15mm spacer, please consult with the professional first about clearance issue before purchasing.
